Family law situations involve a number of different problems you may encounter in the course of your life, from ending a marriage, establishing paternity for a child, enforcing or changing a prior court order for placement/custody or child support, or even obtaining visitation rights for grandparents.
Personal injury claims involve obtaining compensation for people who have suffered losses through the negligence of others. The law recognizes that if someone else has violated their obligation to you to take reasonable precautions for your safety, you have recourse to the courts to enforce yours rights of compensation.
"Litigation" is the catch-all phrase for issues that must be resolved through court involvement. This could involve enforcement of a contract such as an insurance claim, or protection of your rights to your land if someone is asserting rights over part of your property. It could be removing a holdover tenant or obtaining return of your property.
